The Hulbert Outdoor Center, located in Fairlee, Vermont provides experiential education programs to people of all ages. Current programs include day and overnight options for school groups focused on teamwork, leadership, and environmental education, school vacation camps, Homeschool camps, afterschool programs, family camps, skills certifications, and community service programs. In addition, we host a diverse set of weekend retreats and special events. Program Instructors fulfill a wide variety of programmatic needs including: teambuilding and leadership work with school groups, natural world education, recreational activities, and programming for weekend programs and retreats, among other responsibilities. The ideal instructor is passionate about helping kids and adults develop a positive sense of self and strengthen their connections to each other, their communities, and the outdoors. Instructors must be eager to teach through experiences and motivated to learn and grow within the community. As the season progresses, Instructors will develop their skills in lesson planning and group management with possibilities to develop curricula and other professional advancement opportunities.
