Morry’s Camp is the summer component of Project Morry. Project Morry is a comprehensive, year-round youth development organization dedicated to empowering children ages 9 – 18, from under-resourced communities located around the metro-NYC area. Our nine-year commitment to each child is anchored by a multi-week residential summer camp experience and provides academic enrichment programs during the school year and one-on-one mentoring.
This is your opportunity to make a difference in these remarkable kids lives by becoming one of our outdoor adventure specialists. We are looking for individuals who enjoy teaching, learning and sharing with young people. Individuals who can work independently and with a team and individuals who want to challenge themselves on their way to all kinds of successes.
Ideal applicants are 21+ years old, holding minimally First Aid and CPR certification and enjoy being in the outdoors. Instructor Certification or experience in one or more of the following areas: Low Challenge Course Facilitation, Canoeing, Kayaking, Mountaineering/Backpacking/Trip Leadership, Orienteering, ACA OLS, etc.
