Responsibilities: The Horseback Riding Director will be in charge for the maintenance and care of the barn and the horses, as well as instructing children between the ages of 6 and 17 at various levels (beginning through advanced). We teach English hunt-seat riding.

Qualifications: At least 21 years old, with extensive riding and teaching experience. A background including barn management and horse care. CPR and First Aid certification is required.

Who We Are: Eagle's Nest Camp is a coed camp over 90 years old located in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina. Eagle's Nest provides a strong, nurturing community where campers ages 6-17 are treated with respect, honor and compassion. Campers have the opportunity to participate in 1 - 3 week long sessions which emphasizes the wilderness, arts and community. Our mission is experiential education for young people, promoting the natural world and the betterment of human character.
